It is branded as Greek but one of its most famous dishes is the « Fresh Burrata on Tomato Salad ». Eggplant carpaccio with raw tahini, grilled root vegetables on turkish cheese are a must have closely competing with some traditional Mussaka or Mussels in Ouzo... Incoherent? Not really.

The Ouzeries are the equivalent of the Spanish Tapas for Greeks and an Ouzeria itself is a tavern serving ouzo and mezze, classic Greek finger foods. However, Tel Aviv’s spot goes a lot beyond there. Chef and owner Avivit Priel explains that for her, it is all about atmosphere. What she took – along with her partner Limor Lami – from this very special country is its «character» as well as the amazing quality products rather than the recipes. She then gave it all her personal twist and spice in order to get a varied and fine menu. It was so hard for us to order from this tempting menu that we thought we would recommend you a few things: Black Pasta with sardines, yellow tomatoes confit, fresh homemade Ricotta and arissa for a nice dive into the Mediterranean, grilled artichoke on a sweetcorn cream and parmigiano if you miss Italy a bit; grilled roots vegetable on Turkish goat cheese to change a bit from the classic mozzarella or feta. And Ceviche, no need to introduce you to this, it is always as tasty! A last advice: try to book and if not, get there really on time. Small and crowded for the best vibe... We think you have spent enough time in front of your computer, just get your friends going and schedule your night out. Theme: Ouzo!
